Dr. Cheryl Cooper brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in technology and cybersecurity, coupled with distinguished service as a Telecom Technology Controller in the U.S. Navy. She holds a Doctorate in Computer Science (Information Assurance), an M.S. in Criminal Justice (Cybercrime), and industry-leading certifications including CISSP, CDPSE, and CISSA.
Throughout her career, Dr. Cooper has faced—and conquered—the kinds of biases and barriers that too often hold women back in STEM fields. She’s made it her mission to not only excel in her own right, but to lift up the next generation of talent, especially women and underrepresented groups, through education, mentorship, and advocacy.
